Club Wyndham is a points system. A lot of owners also hold, or used to hold, a deeded fixed week at a named resort that was later “converted” into points. The conversion is often its own contract, with its own term and its own fee, and it does not automatically erase the first one.
Reservation windows, VIP tiers, and housekeeping or bonus products get added at later presentations. Each of those can be a separate obligation. The statement that looks like one membership is sometimes three agreements.
Developer exit programs for this family of products change, and they are not the same thing as a negotiated release. Eligibility is usually narrower than the sales conversation described.
